United Methodist Women

Join a circle!

New members are always welcome!

Suzannah Circle will meet on Wednesday, April 14 in the church parlor at 7 p.m. Sandra Baker is the hostess. We will be assembling health kits for migrant workers. Please remember to bring the items that you promised. The kits will be taken to May Friendship Day at St. Andrews UMC on May 1.

Esther Circle will meet on Tuesday, April 20 at 10 A.M. in the church parlor.

United Methodist Men

2009 Summary

The United Methodist Men for 2009 donated $100 to the Little Kanawha District United Methodist Men's potatoes to the needy project.  We also donated STRENGTH FOR SERVICE, a devotional book, to 10 deployed soldiers of the West Virginia Army National Guard.  We renewed our Charter in December and also prepared 15 food boxes for needy families.

  The men watched the safety and training video for ADOPT A HIGHWAY.

MARCH HIGHWAY CLEAN UP

Highway clean-ups are scheduled for a Saturday in July and in October 2010.

 

April Breakfast Meeting

Members of Troop 7 will be the guests of United Methodist Men for breakfast on Sunday, April 18.  The boys will participate in the worship service at 10:45 and will serve a baked potato lunch (with toppings, salad, and dessert) following worship.  Donations will be taken to cover the cost of the meal.  Plan to join us and support this active group of young men.
